Grow Your Own Business Workshop

 

CCC had the privilege of taking part in a one-day workshop for creatives (especially parents) looking to develop their own businesses at both the V&A Museum in January 2019 and The British Library in June 2019. Key conversation topics included promoting yourself in the press and social media and learning to sell to anyone. 

 

We introduced actionable and proven techniques to help individuals develop their creative businesses. Rose Hill and a panel of creative experts, including social media influencer Emily Quinton (Makelight), Kat Molesworth (Blogtacular), and sales expert Alison Edgar (The Entrepreneurs Godmother) shared realistic and practical ideas to help create a road map for their businesses.

"Working with the Academy, Rose has devised and delivered three day long events including a creative careers event aimed at creative business owners with young children, and two day long creative pattern making events based on our Mary Quant exhibition. All of these events were fully booked and the feedback from participants was excellent.
